Neil Senturia, Chief Executive Officer, has over 25 years of experience founding and managing growth oriented start-ups. In 2003-2004, Senturia was the CEO of Soflinx Corporation, a software and systems integration company providing monitoring and control solutions through wireless sensor and device networks (WSN). The company was funded by In-Q-Tel, the venture arm of the CIA, and was sold to Lockheed Martin in 2004. Prior to joining Soflinx he was the founding CEO of Mohomine, a software company focused on the management of unstructured data. Founded in January 2000, Mohomine was sold in March 2003 to Irvine based Kofax Image Products. Prior to Mohomine, Mr. Senturia was the co-founder and CEO of Atcom/Info, the pioneer in internet and e-mail kiosks and high speed internet access in hotel rooms. The company was sold in September 1999 in a deal valued at more than $80 million and is currently owned by Cisco.

Vladimir Odnoblyudov, Ph.D, Chief Technology Officer, is the co-founder of Quanlight and co-inventor of the company’s core technology. He obtained a Masters degree from Saint-Petersburg Technical University, Russia. While studying, he worked as a research assistant in Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute, where he demonstrated low threshold current 1.3 micron lasers for telecommunications using a dilute nitride material. He augmented this work to earn his Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego, where he conducted research on high power red Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) using a similar material system.

Harvey White, Chairman of the Board, was a co-founder, president and COO of QUALCOMM where he was instrumental in the rapid growth and commercialization of its telecom products worldwide. White was also the founder and CEO of Leap Wireless, the creator of low cost Cricket wireless in the United States. Currently, White is also chairman of (SHW)2 Enterprises, an independent development and consulting firm.

Phil White, Chief Financial Officer, formerly served as the president of the Wireless Business Solutions division of QUALCOMM where he was responsible for $300 million in sales and a workforce of over 1,000 employees. He joined QUALCOMM in 1987 and served in a variety of roles including division controller, vice president of finance and vice president and general manager. White holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Elliot Hicks, Director of Business Development, has experience ranging from lean manufacturing process improvement to custom software development. He has a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his MBA degree from San Diego State University.

Michael Tischler, Ph.D., Director of Operations, has extensive experience in the evaluation, improvement and implementation of semiconductor processes. His experience includes serving as vice president of epitaxial technology and business development for ATMI, a materials and materials packaging supplier to the semiconductor industry. He has 90 publications and 24 patents including US6600175 “Solid State White Light Emitter and Display Using Same” for white light LEDs. Tischler earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University.
